YABO is a luxury clothing boutique that offers handmade crochet and sewn select pieces. We do it for the culture. For fashion, and for your closet. Our bold, creative designs are rooted in community, culture, and style.

 

The term "YABO" stems from our founder's, Brooke Baker, nickname given by her maternal grandfather, Ronald H. Carter. The name served as a reminder that our differences are what makes us beautiful and loved as he invested and uplifted his granddaughter's creativity and style. Also, shout out to the Black women that introduced and invested in Brooke's love to crochet, Miss Hazel, and sewing, Sis. Sharon Brown. We are a high-end clothing brand based in Atlanta, GA and Baton Rouge, Louisiana that provides both custom sewn and crochet pieces and luxury clothing exclusively in our online boutique. (Fittings are currently only available for custom orders and must be scheduled through shopyabo@gmail.com)

Launched in 2020, the Give Back collection provides support for numerous initiatives that impact marginalized communities. We combine art, fashion, and advocacy to provide clothing that provides monetary support for those directly in need while promote a more inclusive and conscious society.
